According to the volleyball world on the 3rd, Hyundai E&C is known to have recruited Colombian national apogee spiker Yvone Montaño (28) as a replacement for Yasmin Bedart (registered name Yasmin), who was out of power due to a back injury.

Hyundai E&C, who had been disappointed when the league ended early in the aftermath of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) despite overwhelming results last season, chose to accompany Yasmin in the 2022-23 season and burned its will to win again.
This season, Yasmin showed off her more advanced performance. However, he was plagued by injuries. Yasmin, who suffered from a shoulder injury at the beginning of the season, has been unable to play due to back pain since the Pepper Savings Bank match on December 18 last year.
Initially, the club predicted that Yasmin’s return would be after the All-Star Game. However, with inflammation around his waist, he is still far from returning.
As Yasmin’s injury worsened, Hyundai E&C eventually started looking for a replacement player and chose Montaño.
Montaño currently plays for Muratpasa in the Turkish second division. Right-handed with a height of 188 cm, Montaño can play multiple positions such as an apositive spiker and a middle blocker. He is also evaluated as a player with good elasticity.
His scoring ability was also recognized, including winning the Swiss League top scorer in his last two seasons (2020-21, 2021-22 seasons).
Montaño applied for participation in the 2018 Korean Volleyball Federation (KOVO) foreign player tryout, but withdrew participation just before the draft. He went to tryouts in 2020 and 2022, but was not nominated by the club.
It was said that they were the family of Madelaine Montaño, who commanded the V-League as a member of the KGC Ginseng Corporation in the past, but they were from Colombia and met in the national team, and it was said that they were not related by blood.
Montaño, who is currently staying in Turkiye, is expected to take some time to compete in the V-League due to problems such as entry procedures.
