Bae Ji-hwan (Pittsburgh Pirates) had a dizzying day. He started at first base and went 1-for-4 with a double, a home run, one RBI, one walk and two runs scored in a home game against the New York Yankees at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, on June 16.먹튀검증
Bae’s single was a nightmare for New York Yankees reliever Anthony Mizevich. Trailing 2-3 in the bottom of the sixth inning with runners on first and second, Bae took a four-pitch 79-mph curveball on a 1B2S count. The pitch hit him squarely in the left ear. It then deflected into right-center field for a hit.
Miguel Andujar scored the tying run, giving Bae an RBI single. But he couldn’t celebrate. After being hit by Bae’s pitch, Mijevic collapsed on the mound for a while and screamed in pain. He managed to pick himself up and was carted off the field. A towel was wrapped around his left ear. It was bleeding, according to MLB.com.
Bae squatted at first base and looked worried. He told MLB.com, “I saw the ball fly to him, and I think I saw a little shock on his face. I just felt really sorry for him. It was an accident. There was nothing we could do about it, we just prayed.”
Gerrit Cole and catcher Ben Roethlisberger, who started the game, said they “hope he’s okay.” Mizevich was taken to the hospital for a checkup. “He left here feeling good,” Yankees manager Aaron Boone said. We’re just praying until we get the results.”
Bae and his Yankees teammates were sincere, as Mizevich was wheeled off the field in a cart. He was headed toward the Yankees’ first base dugout, where he would have naturally made eye contact with Bae, who was on first base.

Misiewicz is 2-0 with a 9.00 ERA in 11 games this season. He made his debut with the Seattle Mariners in 2020 and bounced around the Kansas City Royals, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Detroit Tigers before landing with the Yankees. He may not have the stats, but he has more class than any other major leaguer.
