The Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat 116-99 in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals of the 2022-2023 NBA Playoffs on Thursday (Feb. 24) at the Barclays Center. It was their first win in the Conference Finals, and it kept their comeback alive.

In the first half, Boston trailed. Al Horford 먹튀검증 (206 cm, F-C) opened the game with a three-pointer. Derrick White (193 cm, G) and Jaylen Brown (198 cm, G-F) followed with baskets to make it 10-4. However, they were unable to control Jimmy Butler’s (201 cm, F) scoring and fell behind. They couldn’t find a rhythm in the second quarter and went into halftime down 56-50.

But in the third quarter, Boston turned it around. Jayson Tatum (F, 203 cm) exploded after being held to eight points in the first half. Tatum scored inside and out, and scored 14 points in the third quarter alone. Coupled with strong defense, Boston went on an 18-0 run to set the tone. They held on the rest of the way to win the game.

The win brings the series to 1-3. Despite the victory, it’s still not easy. However, Boston’s “vocal leader” Marcus Smart (193 cm, G) hasn’t given up. He told NBC Sports, “We just have to win one game at a time. That’s all it is. I know it’s a tough situation. But we have to believe in each other and move forward. It’s all about the next game.”

No team in NBA history has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a series. Boston came back from a 3-0 deficit to take Game 4 and push the series to a fifth game. Can the Celtics make history by winning the remaining games? The Celtics return home to TD Garden on Nov. 26 to take on Miami in Game 5.
